Goa Ki - Raining Yen
While Japanese music videos are a dime a dozen, here’s a rarity from the early days of Nippon Gothabilly. The band is Goa Ki. Aficionados of Japanese rock videos will notice the marked absence of the mother of one of the performers dressed as a schoolgirl – an indication that Goa Ki, despite closely conforming to the Nippon Gothabilly style, both in music and apparel, harbored the germ of an interesting and exciting originality.
