In 2014 Spiridon Tomçiç was commissioned by the board of elders of the Church of the Luscious Eucharist to compose a work to be played and sung during Good Friday services. Using Haydn’s “Seven Last Words of Christ” as his model, Tomçiç created a piece in twelve movements, each movement representing a station of the Cross.
