Latcho Drom traces the music of the gypsies, from its beginnings in Baluchistan, through North Africa, across to Central Europe and west to Spain, where it took the form of Flamenco. One great performance after another. Oddly, the last scene, the Flamenco, is the weakest – for some reason, the best of cante flamenco escapes the filmmaker.
Here is a lovely bit in Hungary.
